"Sophie has gone too far this time around." I was dimly aware of what Claire was saying, at least the voices in my head had stopped. "Hunter should not have stopped him, those council members need to be taught a lesson. They made all our lives a living hell." She stopped talking now, fully aware that I was listening to her.

"Fuck!" I muttered under my breath as I rolled over on my side, the door swung open and Aliza stepped into the room, a puzzled look on her face when she saw me lying on the floor. "Can you do something about it? My whole body was burning from the inside out." I cried out.

"I heard the scream." She let out a deep breath. "The witch who is responsible for the spells must really hate you, I cannot seem to find a loophole anywhere." Since she wasn't a werewolf, Aliza was able to touch me. She murmured a few spells under her breath and I felt my body cool down immediately.
