Mirabelle’s POV

“It’s dark and yet he’s not back.” I grumbled under my breath pacing around the room with worry etched on my face and my brain accelerating with a thousand and one things that might be keeping him late.

I truly need to see Alpha Dargan to be sure he’s okay. With strong convictions I believe no one would dare plan to attack him directly. He is a one man army but what might have kept him for so long? My duty as the head trainer was put on hold due to my health which I hate to be absent on duty but have no choice. The Alpha would be mad he gets back and gets informed I left for work when he instructed me to rest.
