Chapter 27

[Caden’s Story]

"Dad!" Victoria tried to get up but Caden was fast enough to stop her. He blocked her nude form with his body and stood up against Giovanni. But it was too late because its crew arrived and also peeked inside the cave.

"Giovanni, give us a few minutes first to get dressed," Caden said to Giovanni then he motioned him to wait outside while they get dressed. He's positive that Giovanni would listen to his explanation. But Caden was mistaken because Victoria's father was stubborn to listen to her explanation. It was as if he were talking to a deaf person.

"Caden, you already know what to do, don't you?" Giovanni glared at Caden and warned him to settle down otherwise he would experience how angry he would be.

Caden admitted that the girl's reputation would be in jeopardy but he could not marry her. His mouth watered as he looked at the woman utterly embarrassed by what had happened. "Go with your father. I'll see you in a week for our wedding," H
