As Luke said, there was no one in Brent’s studio when we got back. I can’t be bothered because we’re the only two here. We are now in the other room opposite the room I entered when I pierced Brent.

“There’s a bathroom there, wash your arms and shoulders first.” Luke commanded before walking towards the long table of their tattoo equipment.

I nodded slowly and walked towards the bathroom. There is a long sink there and a cubicle. I go straight to the sink with the big mirror. There I re -examined myself.

The scar on my chest is fully exposed. It was as if I had only recently seen it in my bathroom, now I can come out with it exposed. And that’s all thanks to Luke. For making me realize that there’s no shame in flaunting your flaws. Because they’re a part of you and has made you who you are today.
