Chapter 7
I was not on my own when I got into his BMW. I knew he was still angry because he wasn’t paying attention to me, but I was more worried when I thought about what Luke said again.
I shook and held on to my senses. I put my elbow on the car window and closed my eyes. When I noticed that the car was not moving, I opened my eyes and looked up at him.
He was wearing a white dress shirt that was folded up to his elbow and had three buttons open at the top. The veins in his hand become obvious because of his occasional tightening of the handle on the steering wheel.
“What’s your problem?” I irritably asked.
He seemed to turn to me and I blinked when I met his evil gaze. What, are we both irritated?
“What the fuck did you do with that moron, huh?” He asked in a low tone. I opened my mouth to explain, but I stared at his face. Why did you become a cousin? I sighed.
