Chapter 62

Everybody rushed out into the courtyard to see Cara standing there in her glowing glory, gown gleaming in the sunshine, a crown on her head. She released a bolt of energy from a curled fist, which raced out like an angry cobra and crashed into one of the castle’s observation towers, bringing it crashing to the ground. Cara laughed in delight.

“I know I’m not the smartest guy around, but I don’t think this can be good at all,” King Lary said.

“Do I know how to draw attention or what?” Cara asked.

The castle guard reacted quickly, surrounding her and drawing their weapons.

“Cara, what is the meaning of this?” Rapha asked sternly.

Cara smiled at her mother. “Why, Mother, I am bringing in the big ratings. At least I am trying to. Now that Tata and Baris have been defeated and everything is back to boring normal, I’ve come up with a plan of my own. I’ll become the number one act in the world!”
