Cara couldn’t care less. She was in that crazed daze that super powerful maniacs often go into when they are about to conquer showbiz and the world. She was a god among amoebas. There was only one way to defeat her and Bartz knew what it was. Somehow, he had to turn Cara’s immense ego against her. After all, it had worked against Dooma who was older and should have known better. He started replaying in his mind everything everybody had said. Then it hit him.

“Don’t listen to Opal, Cara! You don’t need her. You don’t need anybody. You could squish her like a bug!”

Cara looked at Bartz and smiled. “That is a splendid idea,” she said. “I will turn her into a little worm and squish her.”

Bartz agreed. “That would be fitting,” he said, declining the opportunity to mention that worms weren’t really bugs.
