Prom was just around the corner now. It'd been five weeks since classes began and by the next month, the postponed junior prom was going to be held.

I was anxious about it, that was for sure. I mean Matthews can be my prom date, but of course, there was someone else I wanted it to be. KJ. And really, I didn't know where I stood with KJ.

The kiss happened a week ago. Since then, since he told me he wasn't sorry about it the next day, nothing much had happened between us.
