The same day, the same pattern. I tried to balance my school bag and my books in my hands as I walked into the school premises. For a moment I was feeling positive. Everything that morning went on smoothly and I wasn't bothered about the possibility of things going wrong.
My self-esteem was in check, together with my pride. Striking my pose into the building in my black hoodie and blue short skirt, I walked towards my locker to get my books for class.
Matthews approached me. He seemed unworried and energetic this morning. The way he skipped his feet while he walked along the corridor to get to his locker made me assume he just won something big. I was glad our differences were settled. I dislike when we fight for meaningless reasons, especially when we have different perspectives about things and different ideologies. We can't always agree on what a party would say but we don't impose our opinions on another.
