It took everyone a few days to clean up and hide traces of war. The current rogues would take a break once in a while in the Blood Moon pack as the women serve them food and offer clothes. Some of the soldiers even set up tents for their rogue guests. In just a matter of days, they have already built friendships with their temporary comrades. Seeing this, Kayden and the Alaskan pack alpha, Maximus, decided to hold a meeting.
“So as you all know,” Kayden started after gathering everyone in the clearing. “Alpha Maximus and I have lost a number of comrades.” He looked around his surroundings at the same time as Maximus sighed defeatedly at the memory of those that he lost.
“Currently, most of you have nowhere to go, correct?” Maximus asked with a firm nod after hearing low and reluctant responses of ‘yes’ from the rogues. He noticed how some of his and Kayden’s wolves turned sad at the mention of their situation and chuckled to himself.
