Molly POV

After this morning’s encounter with Christian, I headed back to my room to sleep some more but after massively failing at that I got up showered, and got dressed ready for the day and I’ve been sitting on my bed reading ever since because I don’t want to face him. I wish I knew what his problem with me is. At first, I thought that maybe he knew but I quickly realized that if he did know then there was no way he would stay quiet not with his kids in the house.

Noise from outside distracts me and I walk toward the window to see what it is. I catch a glimpse of little Sophie running across the grass and a laugh escapes my mouth as she dives at Christian knocking him to the ground. He picks her up laughing and I watch as they head towards a black land rover, he makes quick work of strapping both her and Brody into the truck before waving to a happy-looking Katie as Jack bounces her up and down in his arms.
