Chapter 79

Molly POV

It’s early morning but I’ve not been able to sleep too well so while everyone is still in bed I decide to head downstairs and make a cup of coffee and enjoy it on the porch, maybe even watch the sun coming up. It’s a little chilly so I grab the throw blanket that’s on the swinging chair and wrap it around me before holding on to my coffee with both hands while leaning on the wooden fence that runs around the outside of the porch.

As I enjoy my coffee my mind begins to wonder. It’s been five days since I agreed to give me and Christian a chance and so far I don’t regret a thing. It’s crazy to see such a different side to him now but I’ve quickly come to realize that he thought he was protecting his family and I can’t say that I wouldn’t act the same in that situation.
