Katy’s POV

A small hiss escaped my mouth when I found myself standing in front of Stone’s Software. I didn’t even know how I got the idea to come here. I mean, I made it clear to myself that I wouldn’t accept his offer. He’s so full of himself, and on the other hand, he’s a stranger to me. A total stranger. I mentally scolded my legs for leading me here.

And yet, I made another decision without sharing it with anyone. I was all grumpy in the morning, and I lashed out at Amy. The poor girl must be wondering what is going on with her sister. Don’t blame me. I can’t stop thinking about Mr. Stone’s offer. It will literally solve all my problems. I will get to take care of my father’s loan and other expenses.
