Katy’s POV

“I have an idea.”

My eyes snapped to him with brows raised. It can’t be; he finally made a decision to sue me or something. If that is the case, then I’m doomed. I can’t imagine being in jail as young as I am.

“What idea?” I asked when he didn’t say a word. He shifted back, leaning on a cabinet. By the look of the old things, the room mustn’t be in use for quite a while. “I think the best thing is to quit the job.”

“What?” I stared at him like someone who had grown two heads. I don’t think he knows what he’s saying.

“Why should I quit my job?”

“Because you need to take responsibility for your lie,” he stated, tight-lipped. At that moment, I got a closer look at him. He might appear handsome at first sight, but he’s not good enough to bear the name handsome.
