"Hi," said Emily with a big smile.

Queenza approached Emily hesitantly. She remembered very well what happened this morning. Now she and Emily were alone while Kingsley and Tristan went to Jervis' house. That made Queenza a little uneasy, worried that Queen's soul would appear again or that Emily would still intend to draw a sword on her, and what was worse—a hint of jealousy still suffused Queenza's heart.

"Hi," Queenza replied quietly as she sat in the chair in front of the dining table, glancing uncertainly at Emily who was now focusing again on the food in front of her.
