Karen's POV:

I must admit, in all my years of existence, no man had stood up for me the way Angelo had done today at the mall.

I mean, men have tried to protect me but not in the manner he did. It was like he meant every word he said.

He had this look that said, "I will hunt down anyone that harms you."

The way he handled it so perfectly and calmly was unbelievable. I imagined it was Jon. He would have apologized to the couple and asked that we leave quietly. All in his bid to fulfill all moral values. This was something that never stood out well to me.

I always believe that one should take what is theirs and do whatever it takes to get your rightful rights and position. Always letting it go for "peace to reign" would only breed disrespect and cause people to trample you under their feet.

"Kiss me," he had said. Angelo asked me to kiss him. Was this his way of getting his thank you for the last few minutes?
