"It wasn't like that Angelo. Why won't you believe me?" She said sadly as tears collided in her eyes.

"It doesn't matter anymore anyway," I replied looking away.

"I miss you," She blurted out as tears flowed freely down her cheeks and she hugged me.

"What the hell do you want from me, Karen?" I asked sadly.

I could feel my heart begin to rip away.

"I want things to go back to how they were before," She replied, still holding me tight.

"Have you forgotten that you have a fiance?"

"No, I haven't forgotten. I'm just not so sure that I want him to be my fiance anymore."

"Did you decide that before or after you found out about him and Camilla?"

"Before."

"Have you slept with him since then?"
