Chapter 146
Linc presses a kiss to my cheek, gives me a smile and then he steps out of the door, appears by my door and opens it for me. Smiling. He looks younger than his age. Nobody would believe this man was in his forties.
"My love." Linc says, bending down to kiss my palm as he helps me out. I can't help but laugh at this silly side to him.
"What? We are in the city of love afterall. Some corniness is forgivable." He says defensively, directing me to the outdoors setting of the small cafe across the road. I can't see the Seine from here. It is on the other side of the cafe.
"I guess that is true." I say, throwing my head back to laugh heartily.
