"Yeah. Dylan is a nerd. He is cool, I guess." I say, dismissively. I can't believe he is backpacking through Europe on his own just like that. Didn't he do his internship? Judging by how tenacious he can be about his studies, it is hard to imagine that he would just skip out on the internship to travel around Europe. Maybe he already has some experience or whatever.

Linc smiles and maintains eye contact with me. I know what he is thinking. He knows what I am thinking. We both decide to not let it bother us much. Not to mention it even. Because then, we will be giving power to what is not worth it. Tyler is not worth it. This trip is ours to make the most of. Tyler has already taken so much from us.

We finish our coffee in silence. My sour tasting too dry very disappointing croissant is abandoned.
