Book 3: Chapter 18
She stood silently on the balcony, her nightgown fluttering softly in the silent breeze, the moonlight illuminating her face which showed all her sadness as clear as it was in her heart. Her bright blonde hair was cascading down her shoulders like a waterfall, few strands flying up with the blow of the breeze as she tried to calm down her nerves with its silent song.
She let go of the hand rails and looked down at her phone which she held with a tight grip. A few sigh left her lips as the alarm started and she immediately turned it off. She started counting the second in her heart, along with the phone time. She kept waiting for the call which she knows, always pulls her further apart from her husband.
Minutes passed and just as she was lost in thoughts, the phone started blaring and she quickly press the volume button to silence it, she looked back into her room through the thin white curtain to know if the noisy ringtone woke Michael up, but when there was no movement
