Book 3: Chapter 24

Sasha rushed home immediately after work, she dropped by at Michael’s favorite wineries shop to grab him a bottle of Robert Mondavi, she wanted to gift it to him as an apology for missing lunch with him. Hannah greeted her when she saw her and she kissed her son on the head, asking about his wellbeing before rushing up the stairs to prepare for the dinner.

She was putting on her earring when Michael entered, she smiled at him through the mirror, “hi.”

Michael stared at her, still standing at the door, he sighed then approach the bed and dropped his briefcase along with the brown envelope. Sasha turned to him when he hadn’t said anything nor replied to her greetings, “it’s everything okay?” She asked as he proceeded to sitting on the bed, “Michael?” He let out a deep breath and looked at her, his eyes weren’t his usual bright blue, it was a little a dark and she knows that color very much.
