Book 4: Chapter 28

Sasha sighed, she ran her fingers through her hair and licked her lips before glancing up at Vanessa, she didn’t know what to say. Possibly because that the past seven days she had been thinking the same thing, she had been wondering if maybe she and Michael weren’t meant to be, maybe they weren’t destined to be and now Vanessa had said the same thing.

Maybe that would explain why they can’t be happy together, why every little thing was a problem between them. She just couldn’t say anymore and to be honest, it has been weighing her down, especially what would become of her kids if she and Michael were to divorce.

Vanessa could see the stress she was going through and she sighed, “I’m sorry, I told you I was not asking you out to talk about Michael but he seem to be the only thing we have been talking about. What would you like to have?” she smiled and picked up her menu.
