Book 4: Chapter 36
Two weeks gone by, Sasha knew she has no grievances against Michael anymore, if even asked, she just wants them to be a family again but for some reason, she didn’t want to bring it up and was prepared to wait for him to do so. Her phone’s ringtone disrupted her thinking and she picked it from her desk, seeing the caller, she smiled and answered the call.
“Sasha, how are you?” her voice drifted out from the phone.
“I’m okay, Sharon and you?” Sasha asked.
“I’m good. Are you in your office?”
“Yes, why?”
“I’m close by; you think we can grab lunch together?”
“Definitely.”
“Okay, I will wait for you at the restaurant.”
“I will be there in five,” she answered and hung up the call. She closed the file she was supposed to be working on but instead was thinking about Michael and the time they spent in Paris. She grabbed her handbag and was out of the office in no time, bumping into Agatha. “Sorry,” she grinned, “what’s up?”
