Ryan kneaded his temple and closed his eyes. He hardly has time for himself these days as he had chosen to bury himself in his work rather than sulk or do any other thing. Monica had asked for them to meet up a lot of times, and also wanted to know when he would be visiting, for Simon had been asking about him.

He had always replied with a negative response because, for some reason, he didn’t want her to start consoling him or stuff like that. Everyone knows about his divorce now and for two good weeks, paparazzi had clustered near his home and at work hoping to get information from him.

He was sure Monica was asking to meet up to talk about it and to share her sympathy or whatever and he doesn’t want that which was why he had refused to meet up with her. However this morning, she had called pleading that he should honor her request and that she had missed her friend.
