Tangled Hearts: Chapter 51

The jet landed at exactly 7:45AM. Chris glanced at the woman beside him in the car who was trying really best not to fidget. He took her hand in his and rubbed his thumb on her knuckles to give her warmth and strength. No words were exchanged as his mother’s Chauffeur who had picked them up from the airport drove silently home.

When they arrived at the gigantic gates of his home, he exhaled deeply and prepared himself for what he was about to face. However, one thing was for sure, neither his parents, nor the media is breaking them up. He has waited so long to finally have her and he won’t be letting anybody come in between them. The gates opened and the car drove into the property, heading straight to the mansion at the far end.

“What do you think they would say?” Isabella finally said a word after thirteen whole hours. She had gone mute from the moment they boarded the jet and didn’t say a single word until now.
