Book 2: Chapter 40

Eight days later, Sasha tossed into the dustbin in her office her fifteenth draft plan. She heaved a frustrated sigh. Just what in the world is wrong with her? Why can’t she draft out a reasonable plan?

Three days ago, the Jack and Jones Empire announced the five companies they are working with, and in all, hers was the smallest. She needs a good proposal, something that will bring profit. She wants to prove herself. She doesn’t want to hide under the shadow of Michael. The press are already speculating the idea that she was chosen because she is Michael Brown’s wife, and since the Jack and Jones have been in close business with him, they are just giving him face by choosing his wife.

She wants to prove them wrong. She believes Michael gave her this contract because he believes in her, and she is going to show her potential to everyone. And even though she doesn’t want to believe it, she really wants to make Michael proud.
