"Breakfast is ready, Mr George" A petite middle-aged maid called out and walked away. George quickly put on a dark blue t-shirt getting ready to head to the dining hall to eat breakfast with Rachel.

George sighed, closing his eyes for a moment. She was acting cold to him again, before he woke up, she was already dressed, heading downstairs. She was back to her 'new' self, giving him cold distant replies and avoiding his gaze.

Was she trying to say that last night meant nothing to her? Did she really not like him anymore? 

He didn't know what to think anymore. She was not saying anything to him about what could be wrong. It seemed like she wanted to just handle everything all by herself. And here he was, not knowing if the cause of her anger was him or something else.
