Chapter 45. Yearning For Him

As Rachel and her mother strolled down the road that led to their personal house, she noticed that Sophia's car was parked outside the gate. She was probably inside waiting for them to return.

Her mother, Amanda pushed the door open and they walked into their apartment. Sophia rose to her feet and hugged both of them before Amanda strolled to her room to take a nap. "How did the meeting with your father go?"

"It went well, even though he tried so hard to be strong but anyone could see he was devastated and heartbroken by everything we revealed to him" Rachel answered. 

Sophia swept her gaze over Rachel as she moved to settle on a sofa. "Take a look at yourself, you look so lovesick. Anyone who catches a glimpse of you would think you just got a divorce."
