Taylor’s POV

Denise had come to visit Mavi, and to my surprise, he invited me to accompany him. It felt like a significant step forward, considering our recent past. As we walked hand in hand, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of happiness. However, the sight of our intertwined hands immediately brought a frown to Denise’s face.

“Hello, Denise,” I greeted her with a polite smile.

She acknowledged me with a curt nod but quickly redirected her attention to Mavi. “Mavi, I’m having a party next week, and I would love for you to come. It’s going to be a big gathering with all my friends and family.”

Mavi glanced at me for a moment before responding, “Thank you for the invitation, Denise, but I’m not sure if I can make it. I’ll let you know besides we still have work on that day,” he acknowledged.

Denise’s disappointment was evident, but she quickly composed herself. “Well, it would be great if you could make it. Think about it, okay?”
