Taylor’s POV
“Are you sure?” he asked, surprised.
“Of course,” I said smiling at him. “My parents would love to meet the person I love, I’m sure about it. So, don’t worry, they’ll love you I know that,” I said, assuring him that it will all be fine.
Mavi’s eyes softened, and a sense of relief washed over him. “Thank you, Taylor,” he said, his voice filled with gratitude. “I just want to make a good impression on them, you know?”
“I know,” I replied, squeezing his hand reassuringly. “But you don’t need to worry. They’ll see what I see in you, and they’ll love you just as much as I do.”
As we approached the nurses’ station, Yumi spotted us and waved excitedly. “There they are, the lovebirds!” she teased, her eyes twinkling with joy.
I rolled my eyes playfully at her, but I couldn’t hide the smile on my face. Yumi had been our biggest cheerleader from the start, and I was grateful to have such a supportive friend.
