Chapter 62

Taylor’s POV

As I walked into the coffee shop, I couldn’t help but feel a mix of emotions. Seeing Grant again after all this time was both nerve-wracking and exciting. I took a deep breath and approached the table where he was sitting with Clint.

“Hey, Taylor,” Grant greeted me with a warm smile, and I returned the gesture.

“Hi, Grant,” I said, trying to keep my voice steady.

Grant gave me a friendly nod, and I took a seat across from them. “It’s been a while,” I said, trying to break the awkwardness that hung in the air.

“Yeah, it has,” Grant replied. “How have you been?”

“I’ve been good,” I said, mustering a smile. “Busy with work and all.”

He nodded, and for a moment, we both seemed to struggle with finding the right words to say.

This is our first time meeting each other again after breaking up. It’s nice to see Grant again, his aura is so much lighter this time. Clint decided to leave us for a moment, I think he sense that
