(Dylan’s POV)
On the drive over to her modest cottage home, I go over every possible scenario that might happen, my imagination running wild. Is she going to hire goons to beat me up for breaking her daughters heart? That might seem like a far fetched speculation, but Ava has got to have gotten her fiery spirit from somewhere, and it's definitely not her dad's.
Or maybe she's going to tell me she no longer wants us to play golf every Friday evening. That'll really hurt my feelings, because I just went and bought her a new golf club last week.
