The ride home is silent, grave, and eerie. I don’t even have time to complain about the speed he’s going. Besides, he makes sure not to take it to too dangerous a limit.
That’s the one thing about my dad that I guess I love. Despite the fact that he’s two steps away from strangling me, he still cares about me, cheers and tries to make me feel as comfortable as possible. Even with that intense side-eye glare, he still asks me,
