Give It to Me Better Now
Whatever that brought them together at the club led them to the executive suite of a hotel downtown. Mrs. Fanny had gulped a few more bottles of beer and rum even after the previous five bottles that were supplied to their table and it was by grace that she didn’t walk on her head instead of her feet.
The strange man was tipsy but much more conscious than Mrs. Fanny; even it was he that led her to his arch back car before his driver got his orders.
“Take me home,” he had ordered his driver, rolled his eyes and rubbed them to gain clearer sight.
“Home, sir?” the driver had protested, “You have a woman with you. I thought you would have said hotel,” he suggested.
The strange man didn’t utter a word. The best he could do was stroke the hair of Mrs. Fanny whose head lolled on his shoulders now.
