Eva Approves of Frank
Frank wondered why he couldn’t stop apologizing even when he thought he deserved the apology and not Mary. He had never been so humble in his life before and he was thrilled to realize that the very woman he loved was the reason he was being humble.
“Once again, apology for pulling up a stunt,” he said as smiles curled up his lips. He wouldn’t want to cause anything that would be disrespectful.
“Stunt?” she asked, shooting a surprise look.
“Maybe I should have sought your permission before taking you home to see my parents.” His voice went cold at the end, obviously sounding apologetic yet regretful for not behaving himself when he needed to.
