Rubbing her hands along her arms to put some warmth back into her body, she left her room in search of one of the others. Selfishly hoping to find one of them awake, even as apprehension at seeing them after the vividness of her disturbing dream nipped at her heels, she made her way to the living room. It was empty, and the warehouse around her was not just quiet but silent.
A frisson of relief loosened the tension she hadn’t realised was tightening her shoulders. Taking a steady breath, she told herself not to be ridiculous. It would be foolish to allow a dream to tarnish reality. The guys had done nothing to scare her. Nothing to harm her.
