Did he taste as good as he smelled? Would he kiss her the way they argued: heatedly, tauntingly, both giving as good as they got? Or would he possess her entirely, holding her still while he feasted?
There was a dangerous, cautionary look in his eyes when she met them again, one that told her she was playing with fire.
That savagery he kept so carefully contained peered out at her from those enthralling depths, exciting her with the ferocity it silently promised. She wanted to taste that ferocity, wanted to dance with his fire and feed him her own.
His hands tightened around her waist.
Livia leaned forward, trapped in that unblinking stare, seduced by the warning glinting darkly within.
