"Nope. Never. But I came here because I missed you, you smart ass."
Lily chuckled. "Tell me about this mission then."
"We’ll be guiding a group of she-wolves on heat across the Northern Region to Ireland," Rhye replied as he took a sip of his own coffee and watched the view outside the library's glass windows.
The Northern Region was a scorched expanse that was home to hundreds of different werewolf pack varieties. The only people who went there were the criminals and the insane—and soldiers of the Warrior because werewolves like Rhye thought fighting off human-eating demons built character.
He added, "The she-wolves are going on a holy pilgrimage to the Moon Goddess site and to the final showdown between gods and demons five hundred years ago."
