"I don't know, sweetheart, but we will know soon." He said as he read her mind and learned that the dark voice had gone from sluggish to sharp, almost gone now. Only a shadow and a remnant of its celestial power remained before her body responded.

Lily found she could breathe easier, some of the tension leaving her.

"You think I was driven by someone?" She asked, still standing naked inside their bedroom. 

"No, no one attacked or mesmerized you with magic; rather, it was someone far more powerful than any werewolf in the land combined. It was the Moon Goddess, our maker. The one who gifted us powers and gifted us our wolves."
