Chapter 18

We're back?

We are?

Luna returned angry at Evan, much to the surprise of all the park visitors and especially Aunt Anna, thankfully, Aunt Anna was always on Luna's side, and this gave Luna a bit of a defense for being angry at Evan.

Luna almost assumes that it's Daniel's habit when we're fighting, and one of the ways that makes us last is that Luna still remembers how we used to spend time on weekends, and sometimes acting like a teenage couple is so much fun.

When was the last time Luna smiled like the memory she is remembering—a smile?

Luna smiled sincerely just before the accident, when the planned vacation became a major disaster and a major trauma in Luna's life.

It was as if every missed event was a teardrop, and the painful moment when those tears fell was remembering how plans for the future and the destiny of life could not be predicted by anything.

What we thought would be spent on happiness ended up being spent in tears all night.
