The footsteps and all the breath that sounded out of the hospital corridor invited the attention of others.
Evan still doesn’t care if doing it isn’t a good thing, because running in the hospital hallway is something that invites noise for patients, especially during the day when it is time to rest.
Evan's step stopped at the door of his mother's room.
