"I don't care about her one bit".

Mateo replied turning around to look at Camille.

Tallulah who was standing behind the door listening, touched her cheeks to feel them wet with tears. She didn't even know when the tears came out from her eyes. 

She didn't want to hear them any longer so she turned immediately walking quickly and running mid-way up the stairs to her room.

"You don't mean that".

Camille stated matter of factly.

Mateo was silent and didn't know how else to contradict whatever Camille was saying.

"I've watched you grow Mateo, I watched you take your first step and first bite". Camille reminded going towards him, she placed a hand on his shoulder. "I watched when you had your first love. Now I see the way you care for Tallulah ".

"You don't know that".

"I might not know but I certainly think that you should go after your heart".
