Chapter 26

"The intruder what?" Mateo asked.

"I'm sorry boss". Alonzo apologized with his head still slightly bent and told Mateo everything.

Mateo got up immediately from his seat in shock.

"What did you say?"

"The intruder is alive but in a very critical position. There's no chance of his survival". Alonzo announced again.

"Where is he now?".

"We dumped him somewhere in the woods".

"What? Go find him now, we still need him". Mateo yelled furiously.

"Yes boss". Alonzo said immediately and left the office, shutting the door behind him. 

Mateo stood there panting heavily as he balled his fingers into a fist.
