Minutes passed, and Diana still hadn't appeared. It had been fifteen minutes past the time we agreed to meet. I scanned the crowd, trying to spot her, with little success. I clenched my teeth; she always did this, she never had the slightest sense of punctuality. I was starting to feel embarrassed as several waiters had already asked if I wanted something, and I had to respond the same way every time: "No, I'm waiting for someone, she's running a bit late." I decided to wait for ten more minutes, and if she didn't show up, I would leave.
"To be honest, I didn't expect you to greet me with that face, considering it's been two years since we last saw each other," I raised my head upon hearing the familiar voice approaching me.
