Chapter 14. Spy

I have been tasked with keeping an eye on the Alpha King of Silver Moon, and so far it has been a doll assignment. I have kept an eye on him and his boring family for the last two years, reporting back to my Master and his mistress, who is acting more and more spoiled in my opinion. I know I don’t have a say in who he sleeps with, but this girl is even more crazy than all the demons combined. She was unhinged when we found her lost in the woods, and it became almost frightening how fast she took our ways.

Almost as if the Great Dark Goddess had planned for her and Master to find each other. He wants to take over the realm, and she wants revenge on a mate she never really had in the first place. I shudder at the thought. She is creepy in a not so good kind of way, and I tend to stay clear of her. Especially with her jealousy. She has gotten more demons killed than any other being in many years.
