Chapter 50. Luna Ceremony and Guests

Maze’s POV

The day goes by fairly quickly from there. Kiara forgets her anger when lunch is served, and she wiggles in happiness in my lap. Her enthusiasm for food is unmatched, but I love it. Then dessert is served and I have never in my life seen or tasted anything so heavenly before! Amanda has made a variety of fairy cakes, beautifully decorated, rich chocolate mousse, strawberry cheesecake and lemon pie with meringue on the top. All of us are moaning over the dessert, and afterwards we have to call her into the dining area.

“Those were the best desserts I have ever had in my life, Amanda! You are really talented!” I tell her, and she blush. Kiara agrees, telling her she should open her own shop. Amanda says that is her dream, but her parents always told it was stupid. All of us growl at that.

“There is nothing stupid in dreams.” I tell her, quickly mind-linking Kiara, who agrees without hesitation. “And if you still dream about it, we would love to help
