This reminds me of a story mom and dad has told us a thousand times. The way they found aunt Morgan was similar to this one. Although I don’t think this stupid man will turn out to be actually pleasant in the end. He seems ugly on the inside and out. Rotten to the core if you will. I roll my eyes. Inari is not doing anything to get Callan to back down, and neither is Kiara. I sigh. Fucking hell. This was not the way things were going to go today.

“Callan, let him down, please.” I tell the angered man, and he does, slowly. I hide my smirk. I would have done it the same way, had this been me in the situation. I shake my head at the man who slides down the tree. Callan turns around, his eyes immediately finding his mate who is staring at him in wonder and appreciation.

“Alright, we can do this two ways everyone.” People turn to look at me. “Either we find a peaceful solution to this unfortunate situation or they fight for her. I don’t care either way
