Chapter 62. One for the Crazy Bitch Book

Mira’s POV

Lillith came back this morning. She nodded to me when she came in, and I nodded to her. I, of course, told Magoth that she was nowhere to be found in the house, when he asked me the other day. And then I asked if he hadn’t sent her on spy work, which he denied. He was very cross and sent out people to find her, but they were unable. I guess she is going to be in all sorts of trouble, which is only going to be an advantage to me. I did what we agreed though, and I didn’t taddle on her. Not that she will believe me, but oh well. I just need the fucking information she got on that absolute nutcase Narine, and then she can go fuck herself for all I care.

I did have someone follow her when she went out that day, but they came back not even an hour later and said she was gone. She disappeared. I cursed myself, but it is what it is.

I know it’ll take some time before she can actually speak to me, so in the meantime I am going to make sure our new guests
