Chapter 39. You Will Regret

Daemon’s POV

“Yes, she is out there, and no, I will not let you meet before I am sure you have your priorities straight, Daemon.” She answers the question I’ve been longing for answered so casually. It feels like my heart is going to burst with excitement, but then her words sink in. She will not let us meet before my priorities are straight. What does she think I’m trying to do here?

Henrik looks between me and the goddess.

“Excuse my intrusion, but would you maybe start from the beginning with all of this?” He says politely, turning fully to Selene. She thinks for a second and fills us in.

“So, am I getting this straight? They have held my daughter captured by your sister, the dark goddess Keres, in her world, because she wants the demons and dark creatures to take over the world? And in addition, Abby now has two half-sisters who are good and pure and a half sister who is evil like no other, just because the goddess of witches needed more from her b
