Chapter 72. New Enemies

Ellie closes the door to Abby’s room, hastening to the crowd gathered further ahead in the hallway. She put her hands on her hips.

“You, you, you, you and you. My office. Now!” She growls at them, not giving any openings for argument. Jason lifts an eyebrow at her demeanor. Ellie only looks back, daring him to say anything on the matter.

“I am coming too.” Willow says, walking towards the stairs before Ellie can protest. Jax follows her closely, and Jasper gives a salute before joining them. She knows they will want to be there, but she had hoped they could solve this with only the mate pairs.

Her hands caress her stomach tenderly before she looks at the other pack members present. They all tell her it’s good to have her back, and then hurry down the stairs to join in on the commotion downstairs. Ellie recognizes the new pack house and concludes they were moving in. She sighs.
